Sharjah Civil Defence Authority (SCDA) announced the implementation of a new package of facilities including a 50 per cent discount on all fines and 50 per cent on firefighting costs as part of its efforts to provide more flexible and efficient services, support economic activities and enhance the business environment in the Emirate of Sharjah.These facilities came in accordance with the Executive Council’s decision and as part of an initiative aimed at reducing the burdens on business owners and investors, enabling them to adjust their conditions and benefit from the services provided according to facilitated procedures, SCDA, said.The discounts would be in effect for three months starting from June 16, 2026 and would cover the violations issued between 2019 and 2026, it added, calling on business owners and individuals to take advantage of this initiative during the specified period.This step came as part of SCDA’s ongoing efforts to provide more flexible and efficient services in line with the Government of Sharjah’s orientations towards providing a stimulating and sustainable investment environment, it said.SCDA called on those wishing to benefit from the facilities or obtain more information to contact it through its official channels or on 06 516 3333.
