
Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed real estate developer expands Middle East operations from Dubai, with assets under management and project pipeline valued at nearly AED19 billion
Dubai: Kasumigaseki Capital Co., Ltd., a Japanese real estate investment and development company listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE: 3498), has formalised its presence in the UAE, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the market and positioning Dubai as the regional base for its Middle East operations.
As of February 2026, the company’s total project pipeline and assets under management reached approximately AED18.99 billion, encompassing 129 projects across its portfolio. The company employs 398 staff in Japan and a team of 90 professionals in Dubai working across real estate investment, asset management and hospitality operations.
Since its listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2018, Kasumigaseki Capital has delivered total shareholder returns of 911.9%, reflecting the performance of its diversified business model.
Founded in 2011 and promoted to the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2023, the company operates across logistics, hospitality, healthcare, fund management and overseas investment sectors.
Three business platforms
As part of its regional expansion strategy, Kasumigaseki Capital is operating through three dedicated business lines in the UAE:
- Kasumigaseki Properties Development, which will lead the company’s development activities in the UAE and is scheduled to launch soon.
- Kasumigaseki Middle East Real Estate, focused on real estate investment and related services, with investment exposure of approximately AED1.12 billion across 60 units.
- Kasumigaseki Restaurant, which oversees the group’s food and beverage operations located at Vida Emirates Hills.
The company said the three platforms are designed to create an integrated business structure that supports sustainable long-term growth across the region.
Expanding from Dubai
Kasumigaseki Capital began operating in the UAE in 2022 and established its formal Dubai presence in 2023, with offices located in Dubai Hills Business Park 4.
The company said Dubai will serve as the regional hub for its Middle East operations, reflecting confidence in the UAE’s economic resilience, regulatory framework and long-term development vision.
